We’re Going 5D, Why Bother Working With First 7 Chakras?

I have been thinking about this for some time now, as we are shifting to 5D consciousness, I had seen a group discussion on FB on the topic that since we are striving for 5D why bother working with the first 7 chakras when we should be working with the chakras above Soul Star.

I did not partake in the discussion at the time (months ago, can no longer find where I seen it) however, I have went within and found my answers.

Chakras 1-7 reside in the body, the Root and Crown bridging us to Upper and Lower Worlds, chakras 8-13 are in our Auric field

First, before working with chakras 8-13 and above, I have some self-reflective questions.  What is the condition of your chakras between the Earth and Soul Star chakras? Are they functioning at optimal levels? Do you work with them everyday, or on a scheduled weekly routine? Are they under- or over-active, spinning out of control or not spinning at all?

This is why we work with the “basic” chakras. Because a lot of people do not work with their chakras often enough, because we still have blockages and barriers. When the lower chakras in our body and the ones emanating into the Earth are not functioning, or experiencing blockages, we are not grounded in this Earth and this reality. Pushing to work with higher dimension chakras when not properly grounded leaves us with our “head in the clouds,” we walk around detached and in some other world, in Shamanic terms you would appear delusional and psychotic.

We’re in this realm for a reason

Remember, we incarnated in this realm for a reason. Working with the chakras in this realm is part of that purpose. To be striving to get away from this realm is to deny your purpose and true path. It will leave you feeling frustrated, and create a “spiritual addiction,” where the astral, lucid dreaming, etc., becomes a form of escape rather than a place to do lightwork.

We also do not want that line to higher realms constantly wide open. It is okay, and recommended to leave the Crown and Root chakras just slightly ajar, it is not advisable to completely shut them off. We are energy conduits, and to completely shut the Crown or Root, it’s like kinking a hose, pressure builds and eventually the dam will break.

If we are unable to adeptly control and manipulate the chakras within our physical body, we don’t have the capabilities to adeptly work with the other chakras. My opinion. So, we work with these chakras then move along to the higher realms, so that when we are in the higher realms, the info can prove useful, and we aren’t just floating around the astral and etheric worlds aimlessly. It might be fun and feel good, but it is not useful.

Taking time for your spirituality is important

Take the time – even if only 2 minutes to start with – every day for your spirituality, if that 2 minutes can be used to focus on a chakra, simply giving the chakra attention in the form of a red candle for Root and imagining roots going into Earth while lighting the candle, or wearing green and seeing your heart chakra expanding when you dress, can make a world of difference in your practice. You are not a Tibetan monk, you do not need to spend 12 hours in meditation in order to honour your spirituality.

When working with the 7 main chakras becomes second nature, the higher chakras will be easier to navigate and making the shift to 5D will flow more smoothly and you may find that ascension symptoms won’t hit as hard.

2017: New Year New You… Or Are We Back to More of the Same?

It has been said that by around January 15th people give up on their resolutions, often because they made one failure, had one cheat day on their diet, smoked a cigarette, the list goes on.  Upon hearing this statistic I was determined not to allow that to happen to me, call it determination or stubbornness, either way upon reaching the Jan 15th date…. Things seemed to pick up momentum!  It was absolutely fabulous to have such a positive push despite any failures up until this point.

There are big changes coming for my family and my business this year.  I know, I know, since creating this blog there has been nothing but changes around here.  I set on a journey to answer things like “what is magic?” and “how to incorporate a spiritual life into the mundane world?” I have been doing nothing but learning about how it all works, and how to work it all.

If you have given up on your “New Me for 2017” due to what you see as failures, mistakes, set backs, please take time to self-reflect on that.  First, get to know yourself, not the new you that you want to be, the You that you are Now.  What resonates for you in making positive changes towards a better version of yourself?  What will move you towards being more of the You that you want to be?  Every little step counts, even if there are set backs, every day is a new day.  Continue to work towards those goals.  Every little step is still a forward motion.  So, don’t sweat the “more of the same” and utilize it as motivation in directing you towards manifesting for the best!

Much Love

Card of the day: XIX The Sun

#XIXTheSun happy, harmony, love, energy, personal growth, vitality, confidence, success

Hanson-Roberts, Essential Tarot (1984)

Always a good card to get in a reading.  The imagery on the card is one of happiness, joy, growth.  A warm, sunny day signifying the bright, solar energy.  The naked baby on the white horse signifying innocence and joy.

Change is indicated in this card, but it is always a positive change.  Usually in regards to family matters.  It heralds a message of a celebration (pregnancy, engagement, wedding) or a welcomed new beginning.

The Sun is a divine masculine, creative energy.

Affirmation: “I welcome all new opportunities.  Now it is my time to welcome happiness and harmony into my life.”

Magical Living – What is Magic? Part One

According to the dictionary magic is defined as, “the power of apparently influencing the course of events by using mysterious or supernatural forces.”

We have discussed light fibers in the previous segment Cooking, Food and Spirituality – What Are Light Fibers? in regard to using them in food and with cooking we identified them as good feelings that we imbue into our food.  Here we will discuss light fibers a little further.  Light fibers are, basically put, feelings.  We are nothing more than a mass of light fibers that intersect with the universe and all the other light fibers in it.  Psychically adept people may actually be able to see these light fibers, which are seen as our auras.  Magic at a rudimentary level is nothing more than a manipulation of these fibers and energies.  Which most people do, on some level, daily and quite unconsciously.

A skilled surgeon, when in the operating room, is performing magic.  While there is medical technology there to help him and his assisting team, there is something more, happening on an almost cellular level.  The energy, the focus that’s being used is a form of magic.  When athletes are in “the zone” they are performing magic.  In trance-like states these skilled people seem to perform miracles.  Nature in and of itself is pure magic, we are pure magic.  Everything is made of energy after all, and performing these feats of magic is simply bending life energy to your will.  Simple, right?

But, if this is true, why do our feelings not manifest that new house or car that we want instantaneously?  Enter, thought forms.  Thought forms are, but not limited to, doubt, unworthiness, self-pity and fear.  Not all thought forms are negative or a hindrance, but these are the main ones that seem to get in the way of manifesting the things we truly want.  Doubting in your own power to manipulate energy is one way to prevent your magical side from ever being fully realized.

Since all light fibers are is feelings, and all we are is feelings, it should be obvious that this is what we need to tune into to create or enhance our magic in day-to-day life.  Though we are taught not to tune into this side of ourselves.  It is imperative to tune into the world around us and to stop looking at society/media for validation.  Society and media do nothing but leave us feeling disconnected, and that’s simply not so.  We are all connected, everything on this planet, including the planet herself, the atmosphere and the black of outer space is all connected.  Tuning into this connectedness is fundamental to performing magic.

Why would we want to tune into connectedness and feel feelings?  Because feeling feelings is the meaning of life.  When we are tuned in, connected, and feeling feelings we will begin to pick up on the Earth’s energies.  We will truly learn our life’s true purpose, and begin living it.  Sometimes we “shut off” feelings because they may be too painful to deal with, or we are taught that we shouldn’t have those feelings.  However, once you are tuned into the energy of light fibers those painful feelings will no longer be in charge of you.  Yes, you will still feel hurt and negative at times, but as we learn how to let go of self-defeating thought forms we will have better control with how we deal with unpleasant feelings.  We move from pain to joy, and we feel a lightness inside us, instead of that heavy feeling that so many of us are conditioned to think is normal.

Let’s look beyond just obtaining the feelings of joy and elation themselves, and lets take a look at those wants that help us obtain our goals of feeling complete and balanced.  There is nothing wrong with asking the Universe, God/dess, Spirit Guides or Ancestors for help with obtaining those things you want.  That is essentially what prayer and rituals are.  Sometimes the things we want are simply to thank the powers that be, or to watch over, or bless a loved one.  With both prayer and ritual, in any religious sense, Adelina St. Clair sums it up in a simple way, “the universe processes a lot of requests.  It tends to prefer the ones that are clear and easily understood.”1  It is very true to say that we get what we ask for.  It’s not just asking for something we want, we need to will it to happen.  We need to have all faith and no doubt that we will get exactly what we ask for.

To sum everything up for What is Magic? Part One, magic is energy, feelings, light forms, and shaping it to create a more complete and balanced life for ourselves.  This is just barely scratching the surface of magical living.  Take some time to reflect on and notice on the little magical things in life.  One of the easiest and quickest ways to tune into these magical energies and feel connected is to get out in nature, sit under a tree, and walk barefoot on the grass.  Feel free to comment what magic is, or what it means, to you.
